All About a Prison Coach
No one is fully prepared for what is about to happen. You realize that you are facing federal incarceration, but you have no idea of the process involved, what to expect, and how to deal with the overall situation. You are experiencing fear, apprehension, and anxiety. You are facing a situation in which you have absolutely no control. You have heard many stories about prison life from books, television, movies, and the news media. Is it really like Oz, Prison Break, or the Shawshank Redemption? You don’t know what is true and what is false and worse yet, you don’t know where to go to get the truth. It is the fear of not knowing that is adding to your mounting fear and apprehension. Are there gangs? Will I be raped? Will I be subjected to fights and beatings? Jail Time Consulting can alleviate those fears by accurately and honestly providing the facts you need to know and the answers to all your questions. Most of our consultants have been in federal prison. They are white collar inmates who know the rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and most importantly of all; they know the programs—the sentence reduction programs. Our consultants who were not in federal prison were the people left behind—the spouses of federal inmates. They can share the experiences, problems, and challenges they faced with you and your family. These are the same problems and challenges your family will face.
A Prison Coach with Experience
I was a white-collar offender and spent thirty-six months of a fifty-one month sentence in a Federal Prison Camp and Low Security Federal Correctional Institution in Miami, Florida. It certainly wasn’t “Club Fed” by any stretch of the imagination. I know from personal experience that serving time in federal prison isn’t easy, especially for first time white-collar offenders. From the very first day I was incarcerated, I felt overwhelmed and under informed. I had worked with a federal prison consultant prior to my incarceration but I had no idea how to handle the day to day nonsense and idiocy of the BOP system, including dealing with other inmates and staff. Jail Time Consulting is a collaboration of many people with the singular goal of helping defendants, inmates, and their families. Our experiences made us determined to help and assist those individuals heading to or already in federal prison. We separate the fact from the fiction; we inform and educate you on what to do, what not to do, what to say, what not to say, and provide expertise in positioning you for all beneficial inmate programs. In addition, I have developed specific programs and techniques to properly position our clients for eligibility and acceptance into various BOP sentence reduction programs including the 500-Hour Residential Drug Abuse Program, the Second Chance Act Program, the Compassionate Release Program, and the Commutation of Sentence Program. These programs have the potential of dramatically reducing the length of actual time served by our clients. I made it through my ordeal, and I can help you make it through yours.

I was sentenced to fifty-one (51) months in a Federal Prison Camp. I spent 36 months in a Federal Prison Camp FPC and a Low Security Federal Correctional Institution FCI. I received no halfway house time or home detention due to the incompetency, bungling, and ineptitude of the BOP and my Unit Team staff. I survived 36 months of supervised release part of which was with a probation officer whose main goal was cause as many problems for the people he supervised as he could. I vividly remember my fears, anxieties, and concerns as well as those of my family. Jail Time, the Book was written while I was in prison, not after I was released. The experiences and information in Jail Time, the Book were written as it happened, as I experienced it. I know what type of a support system my family needed and did not have. I know the pain and anguish that they faced and endured. This is why Jail Time Consulting was formed and all the services it offers. These services were developed and created to help and assist you. From Sentence Reduction Positioning to furloughs, transfers, and designations; we provide practical knowledge and education about the Bureau of Prisons and its programs. We can help you.
