Prison Consulting Services

Jail Time Consulting offers assistance in many areas to not only position our clients for the possibility of the lowest possible net sentence but to also educate our clients on how to receive legitimate perks and upgrades. We assist our client’s defense attorneys in the important area of Pre-Sentencing Investigation and PSI Preparation and the all important Pre-Sentence Report Examination leaving them valuable time to prepare the defense, work with the AUSA in plea agreements, defense strategies, the non-mandatory U. S. Sentencing Guidelines, and possibly planning and preparing for trial. We are not attorneys. We do not take the place of your attorney. We can work in cooperation and conjunction with your attorney or work independently without your attorney. We are experts in BOP policies and programs and we position our clients for the best possible net sentence. Most Criminal Defense Attorneys are extremely disciplined, highly qualified, and exceptionally skilled at their profession. Yet they are not normally charged with the task of knowing all the former and current BOP policies and programs. They do not know all the current rules, regulations, policies, and procedures that you will be charged with obeying. We do. They have never been to federal prison. We have. Our expertise is twofold. First, we assist our client’s defense attorney prior to the client’s sentencing to position the client for the most favorable net sentence. Second, we assist and stay with our client the full period of his or her incarceration, halfway house, and supervised release to assist them with the multitude of BOP programs such as transfers, furloughs, Administrative Remedy Program, and halfway house/home detention availability. Your attorney leaves you at sentencing. We are there for you long after your attorney has left.

“We are not attorneys. We do not take the place of your attorney. We work in cooperation and conjunction with your attorney or work independently without your attorney.”

We assist ine Sentence Reduction Programs, Judicial Recommendations, Individual Client Research, BOP Facility Designation, Furlough Requests, Transfer Requests, Administrative Remedy Program Requests, Halfway House Placement, MINT Program Requests, the Second Chance Act (SCA) Initial Program and the Enhanced SCA Program, the Compassionate Release Program, and the Commutation of Sentence Program. We also individually prepare for each client the all important RDAP Eligibility Assessment & Positioning Paper (REAPP). This paper or report is uniquely prepared for each client and contains specific individualized information about our client to assist him or her in positioning for admission to the 500-Hour Residential Drug Abuse Program, RDAP. This paper is an invaluable resource and provides all the information for a successful Residential Drug Abuse Eligibility Interview. The RDAP Eligibility Assessment & Positioning Paper prepares our clients for a much more comfortable and less stressful Residential Drug Abuse Program Eligibility Interview held in the client’s federal prison setting. We are aware of the key terminology looked at by the Bureau of Prisons drug abuse specialist, and at a minimum, can assure that our clients are going to be reviewed for the RDAP program. Our services continue to both the client and his or her family until their release from halfway house and supervised release.
